Peaceful Choir

Hanno Kreft – GERMANY

“Music is the only language that is spoken everywhere and for this very reason it is predestined to bring together different peoples and cultures. Music is never idle, it can and should be used to create peace between people and therefore I would like to try to and accomplish this idea by supporting and by being part of the “World Choir For Peace”. ” (Hanno Kreft)

Hanno Kreft studied choral conducting, vocal education and voice with Prof. Günter Binge and Prof. Ute von Garczynski. He then went on to further his vocal studies with Kammersänger. Prof. Reinhard Leisenheimer, Jessica Cash and John Hagar Steward.

He was a member of various choirs, including the Paderborn Cathedral Choirs, World Youth Choir, Chamber Choir “I Vocalisti” and the Stuttgart Chamber Choir. In 1997 he founded the now international Nordic Chamber Choir (now known as the Chamber Choir of Europe).

Hanno Kreft is a sought-after Lied and oratorio singer as well as a singing teacher and vocal coach for various choirs. He was a lecturer at the choir academy at the Konzerthaus Dortmund and from 1999 to 2008 at the Dortmund Theater.
